SSP Chawrasia shot a five-under 67 on Friday to finish with a one-stroke lead in the second round of the Indian Open, which remained incomplete after rain interrupted play, reported PTI.
Resuming his opening round after being one-under at the 15th hole on Thursday, Chawrasia dropped a bogey at the 18th hole to remain even-par 72.
Two-time champion Jyoti Randhawa, who scored 75 on Thursday, was the next best Indian, after he carded two-under 70 on Friday which included three back-to-back birdies in the front nine, as well as a birdie and two bogeys in the back nine.
