Australia were bowled out for 285 in their second innings of the first Test against India in Pune on Saturday. Australia were bowled out by lunch with captain Steve Smith scoring his 18th Test century. For India, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja shared seven wickets between themselves.
Ashwin ended with figures of 4/119 and Jadeja bagging 3 wickets for 65. Umesh Yadav also took two wickets with Jayant Yadav bagging the wicket of Matt Renshaw.
India were bowled out for 105 in their first innings and will hope to get their act together in the second as there are more than two days of play left.
The highest ever successful chase by India in India is 387 and they will clearly have to push the limits in the fourth innings on a pitch saw 15 wickets fall on day two alone.
