The Indian women’s cricket team continued its unbeaten run at the ICC World Cup Qualifiers by advancing to the final with a comfortable seven-wicket win over arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday in Colombo.
India bowled out Pakistan for 67 in 43.4 overs with India’s Ekta Bisht running through their batting line-up finishing with figures of 5/8. Her effort included seven maidens. Only two Pakistani players could reach the double-digit mark. In reply, India chased down the target in just 22.3 overs, with seven wickets to spare.
The win saw India top the Super 6 table. They have already qualified for the World Cup.
