The Indian Premier League 2017 players auctions is scheduled to be held on February 20 at Bengaluru. The tournament will be played between April 5th to May 21st. After this edition, all existing contracts of the players will come to end and a mega auction is slated to be held ahead of the next season.

The likes of Ishant Sharma, Eoin Morgan and Mitchell Johnson are all up for grabs. Delhi Daredevils’ record buy from last year, all-rounder Pawan Negi, is also unattached as the players go under the hammer.

The IPL franchises will go into the player auction with a maximum of Rs. 143.33 crores purse for the 2017 season. The teams can possess a maximum of 27 players, including nine overseas players. A maximum of 76 players, including 28 overseas, can be bought at the auction.
