United States-based actor Harrison Ford was involved in a near-miss mid-air accident in California’s John Wayne Airport on Tuesday, Reuters reported. The 74-year-old’s flight landed on a parallel taxiway, passing over a waiting American Airlines plane with 110 passengers and crew on board.

A recording has the Indiana Jones and Star Wars actor asking, “Was that airliner meant to be underneath me?” The Guardian reported. The US Federal Aviation Administration said it was investigating an incident involving a single-engine Aviat Husky plane and an American Airlines Boeing 737. While the Federal Aviation Administration’s spokesperson, Ian Gregor, did not confirm if Ford was flying the private plane, he said the pilot received and had read back the proper landing instructions.

The actor’s representative has not made a statement yet.

Ford has been involved in several aviation accidents in the past. In March 2015, he sustained severe injuries when the world war-era trainer he was navigating lost power forcing him to crash land on a Los Angeles golf course. He was involved in two other mishaps in 1999 and 2000, The Guardian reported.

He took to flying in his 50s and owns several planes, BBC reported.
