Ravindra Jadeja snared the wickets of Alastair Cook and Moeen Ali to put India in the driver’s seat heading into the final session on day four of the fourth test against England.

After conceding a lead of 231, England came out to bat but lost debutant opener Keaton Jennings for a first-ball duck, trapped leg before by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Jennings had top-scored in England’s first innings with 112.
Cook and Root steadied the ship before the English captain was trapped before by Jadeja. The batsmen opted for an appeal which was unsuccessful. Ali, promoted up the order, was caught by Murali Vijay at leg slip off a Jadeja ball to leave England tottering at 49 for 3 heading into tea.
