Ravindra Jadeja has been India’s utility man to say the very least. Along with Ravichandran Ashwin, the duo have taken Indian cricket to greater heights owing to their all-around skills.
During his initial days, he wasn’t backed by critics or cricket lovers, becoming a parody along the lines of “Sir Jadeja”. However, he finally started making an impact with his bowling and chipping in with crucial match winning knocks to take India home. He adds variety to the Indian spin attack and is an asset to an already power packed batting lineup.
He made his Test debut in 2012 against England and since then has been a part of the Indian squad consistently. He has scored three fifties and has also picked up 95 Test wickets in 23 matches.
In the one-day side, he has scored over 1800 runs bagging 147 wickets in 126 matches. He has played for four Indian Premier League teams that include Rajasthan Royals, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Lions.
