Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes breathed his last on November 27, 2014. Hughes was struck on the neck by bouncer from New South Wales paceman Sean Abbott on November 25, 2014.
The 25-year-old former Test batsman died two days later in hospital leaving the cricketing world in shock.
An exciting batsmen and a fantastic cricketing prospect, he played 26 Tests for Australia scoring almost 1600 runs.
He also played in 25 One-Day Internationals scoring 826 runs including two hundreds. A joyful and energetic character, he also won the domestic cricketer of the year award. A cricketer that is the need of the hour for Australia; the cricketing world is still recovering from the shock after his death two years on.
