Seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been recalled into India’s 16-member Test squad for the remaining three Tests against England. Bhuvneshwar comes back into the side after missing the third and last Test against New Zealand and the first two Tests against England. The Indian selectors, meanwhile, have chosen not to include opener Gautam Gambhir, who was left out of the playing XI of the second Test, in the squad.
England are also set to make a change of their own, with Jos Buttler likely to replace Ben Duckett in the third Test in Mohali. Duckett has struggled in the series, falling thrice to India’s Ravichandran Ashwin in as many innings. Captain Alastair Cook admitted that the selectors would need to look at getting Buttler back into the side.
