Whether India is angry about demonetisation or not, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal certainly is. In a video interview for Facebook Live with BBC Hindi, Kejriwal let fly in anger when questioned about his stance on demonetisation (video above).

Apart from demonetisation, Kejriwal also spoke about bribery allegations and Delhi’s pollution problem in the 28-minute interview (video below). But things took a turn for the worse soon after Kejriwal declared, “Fifty-five people have died,” while listing the fall-out.

At this point the journalist interrupted, “How can we link this directly to the currency ban and people going cashless?” After some hostility, Kejriwal told the BBC reporter, “I am ashamed that reporters like you are saying that these two issues cannot be linked. People are dying, business is down, people don’t have anything to eat in their homes, and you are saying jaanch nahi huyi (there has been no investigation).”
