England pacer Stuart Broad is doubtful for the third Test in the ongoing series against India after aggravating a foot injury on Friday during the second day of play in the second Test in Visakhapatnam, reported AFP.
Broad, who underwent a scan on his right foot after the second day’s play, has suffered damage to a tendon, the report said.
“Stuart Broad has strained a tendon and one of the small joints in his right forefoot. The injury will be reviewed further at the end of the Test,” an England media statement said.
However Broad, who took two wickets in the final session on day three of the Visakhapatnam Test, will “continue to bowl” in the rest of the innings.
