India’s women’s cricket team completed a whitewash over the West Indies side in the three-match one-day series after winning the final game by 15 runs in Vijayawada on Wednesday.
Defending a modest total of 199, India bowled out the Caribbean outfit for 184 thanks to a four-wicket haul by left-arm spinner Rajeshari Gayakwad.
Earlier, a 71-run knock by Veda Krishnamurthy helped India set the opposition a target of 200 after tottering at 52 for three at 20-over mark.
India had already clinched the series after winning the first two games.
