Newly crowned World No. 1 Andy Murray beat John Isner 6-3, 6-7 (4), 6-4 to win the Paris Masters in Paris on Sunday. Murray won the first set with ease, dismantling Isner's serve on several occasions to win 6-3.
The American, however, staged a strong comeback in the second set taking it to a tie-breaker, which he eventually won 7-4. The third set was an intense one as well with both men going toe to toe. Murray eventually broke Isner to win the set and match 6-4.
With this victory, Murray won his eight title of the year and his first as World No. 1.
