It was night of complete domination by Toronto Raptors’ DeMar DeRozan, who was instrumental in his side’s 113-103 win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday. DeRozan had his second 40-point game of the season and his fourth straight game where he scored over 30 points. This saw him tie with Mike James’ franchise record. DeRozan also had five rebounds, five assists and two steals, including a three pointer.
Lakers register a win after two defeats
LA Lakers beat the Atlanta Hawks 123-116 in a crucial win for the side. D’Angelo Russell led the team with 23 points, eight assists and four rebounds. The win also was Lakers' first after two defeats and will give the young side a boost in confidence that seems to be missing in a talented team of youngsters.
Boston Celtics survive scare
Boston Celtics beat Chicago Bulls 107-100 as they lost Jae Crowder in the process. The Celtics diagnosed Crowder with a left ankle sprain and ruled him out against Thursday’s clash against defending champions Cleveland Cavaliers.
