The big news: India look to settle score
India are set to take on New Zealand in the fifth One-Day International in Vizag on Saturday. After losing the previous match in Ranchi, India will hope to get their act together to win the series against a New Zealand team that has finally hit the right notes in the series. Openers Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane must come to the fore for India if they are to win.
For Mahendra Singh Dhoni, this will be the last one-day series of the year before they take on England in January in three ODIs. Dhoni, who hasn’t won an ODI series since October 2014, and will look to make amends for the losses in Ranchi and Delhi. For Kane Williamson’s men, momentum seems to have shifted their way with their bowlers getting their act together. Batting seems to be a worry but they possess the caliber required to get the job done.
