This is the week when Karan Johar’s romance takes on Ajay Devgn’s action thriller.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Karan Johar’s first full-length feature as a director in seven years stars Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor) as a singer who is torn between Alizeh (Anushka Sharma) and Saba (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan). Fawad Khan also appears as Alizeh’s partner – the big reason why protests broke out against the movie. The chart-topping music is by hit-maker Pritam.

Shivaay Ajay Devgn has directed and produced this action thriller as well as bagged the main role of a father who saves his daughter from peril. Shot in snow-covered Europe and boasting extensive stunts, Shivaay is Devgn’s second movie as director after his The Notebook rip-off U Me Aur Hum.
