West Indies ended the second day of the second Test at Abu Dhabi on 106/4 after losing Marlon Samuels (30) and Kraigg Brathwaite (21) in the last two overs of the day. However, they are still 346 runs shy of Pakistan’s first innings score of 452.

Earlier in the day West Indies bagged the final six wickets of the Pakistan innings for 120 runs as Shannon Gabriel took 5/96 and Jason Holder finished with figures of 3/47. Gabriel picked up his first five-wicket haul in Tests with the effort, accounting for the crucial wickets of Misbah-ul-Haq (96) and Sarfraz Ahmed (56). Misbah missed out on his 11th Test century after only adding six to his overnight score, while Sarfraz’s 59-ball 56 ensured that Pakistan posted a substantial first innings total.
