Four students were shot in a parking lot outside San Francisco's June Jordan School for Equity on Tuesday, CNN reported. A 15-year-old female student, who police suspect was the target of the attack, is in a critical condition, while three other male students have been treated for non life-threatening injuries. Officials had imposed a lockdown after the incident, which has now been lifted.
Police are on the lookout for the suspects. San Francisco Unified School District has described the shooting as "an isolated incident outside of the school building where one student was being targeted by outsiders."
According to a Reuters report, four male suspects were spotted fleeing the scene.
