Argentina were demolished 74-20 by India in their Kabaddi World Cup clash in Ahmedabad on Saturday. After losing their opener against the Koreans, India have dominated all their games and Saturday was no different as they outplayed their South American opponents. The Anup Kumar-led side made sure they weren’t complacent. Argentina are yet to register a win in the tournament.

Argentina came out all guns blazing but suffered their biggest defeat in the tournament against India. Sandeep Narwal, Rahul Chaudhari, Ajay Thakur were at their best as they dismantled the Argentines with ease. But, the Argentina did put up a strong performance during the end of the first quarter, but was unable to contain the Indians.

Republic of Korea and Iran qualified for the semi-finals earlier in the day. India have 16 points and are six point ahead of third-placed England, who have a game in hand. A win in their last match against England will be enough for India to qualify.
