Barcelona were stunned by Celta Vigo 3-4 at the Balaidos on Sunday, but not before mounting a strong comeback in the second half.
After the initial ten minutes, Celta Vigo turned on a switch and completely outplayed the Catalan giants. Pione Sisto and Iago Aspas gave them a 2-0 lead before Jeremy Mathieu scored an own goal to leave Barcelona trailing 0-3.
But they responded emphatically in the second half. Gerard Pique opened Barcelona's account in the match in the 58th and Neymar slotted home a penalty six minutes later to make it 3-2. But Celta Vigo got a key goal in the 77th minute when a rebound off Pedro Hernandez gave them an all-important fourth goal. Barcelona still stayed in the hunt, courtesy Pique's second goal in the 87th minute but Celta Vigo held on to register a stunning 4-3 win.
