India entered the final of the hockey men's U-18 Asia Cup with a pulsating 3-1 victory over Pakistan in their semi-final clash in Dhaka on Thursday.
Shivam Anand scored the first goal for India in the seventh minute and Dilpreet Singh added a second in the 32nd minute, before halftime. Nilam Sanjeep Xess made it 3-0, just after halftime in the 46th minute. Pakistan's Amjad Ali Khan clawed one back in the 63rd minute, but India held firm to book a place in the final.
India's Kunwardilraj Singh was named the Player of the Match for his performance. India will meet Bangladesh in the final on Friday.
