The Indian paring of Rohan Bopanna and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan beat Spain’s Feliciano Lopez and Argentina’s Juan Monaco in their doubles encounter at the Chengdu Open on Tuesday. The Indian duo beat their opponents 6-2, 6-4 to enter the quarter-finals.
Bopanna and Nedunchezhiyan outclassed their opponents and were in complete control of the match. They played a near perfect game to enter the last-eight stage of the competition. Bopanna is yet to win a title this year and has a 23-19 win-loss record this season.
