At least six people were injured in a shooting near a shopping mall in Houston, Texas, on Monday, reported Reuters. The gunman died after being shot by the police. The gunman reportedly opened fire at vehicles, and the people who have been injured were all inside their vehicles.
The identity of the shooter or the cause of the incident are still unknown. The local administration called in a police bomb squad to conduct search operations in the area. The injured people were shifted to local hospitals.
The incident comes after a shooting took place at a mall in Baltimore, Washington, on September 23. Five people were killed when a gunman opened fire at Cascade mall.
