The Indian men's Under-18 team put in a commanding performance in their second game of the U-18 Asia Cup in Dhaka on Sunday, defeating Oman 11-0.
Dilpreet Singh was named the player of the match for scoring a hat-trick. Captain Nilam Sanjeep Xess and Ibungo Singh Konjengbam also completed hat-tricks respectively while Abhishek and Shivam Anand scored the remaining two goals.
This result boosts India's goal difference and increases their chances of progressing to the knockout rounds after they were shocked by Bangladesh 4-5 in their opening match. Seven teams are participating in the tournament.
