Five people were killed in a shooting at Cascade mall in Burlington, Washington State, on Friday night, confirmed the police. Although it is not yet clear how many shooters there were, Washington State Patrol spokesperson Sgt Mark Francis said they are looking for at least one gunman. He told BBC that the police were looking for a "Hispanic male wearing grey" clothes.
Francis also shared a picture of the suspected shooter on Twitter and asked people to notify authorities if they had any information about the person. The incident took place at the Cascade mall. The locality is around 107 km north of Seattle. On Twitter, Francis said, "Please avoid Cascade Mall area in Burlington. Follow all road closures."
The Federal Bureau of Investigation that is helping out the local authorities with the inquiry said there was no indication of further attacks planned in the region in connection to the incident. Emergency medical teams have entered the mall "to attend to injured".
