He also attacked actors Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan for working with Pakistani artists.
As a mark of his protest against the recent terror attack at the Uri army base, the singer asked External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to stop granting visas to Pakistani nationals. Bhattacharya also encouraged the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, whose film wing issued a 48-hour deadline to Pakistani artists to leave India, and urged the government to "bash the real traitors".
