India will start underdogs as they face off against Spain in their Davis Cup World Group Play-off in New Delhi, which begins on Saturday. The line-ups were announced on Thursday: Ramkumar Ramanathan will be facing former world No.1 Rafael Nadal on the opening day. India's highest ranked singles player, Saketh Myneni, will also battle it out against world No.13, David Ferrer.
With Rohan Bopanna pulling out days before the tournament, Myneni will be teaming up with veteran Leander Paes for the doubles rubber on Saturday, which will be played against Spanish specialists, Feliciano Lopez and Marc Lopez.
Ramanathan will face Ferrer on the third day on Sunday, which will be preceded by Myneni's match against Nadal.
