Wenesday was a bad day for the Chinese city of Fuzhou to host the annual mid-autumn moon festival. A giant "moon" ballon escaped the harvest festival with help from a typhoon, and a video captured it, terrorising the unsuspecting inhabitants of the city.
It can be seen being blown across the city's landscape and rolling over cars. While the image of the gigantic balloon almost rolling over a mother and her child make for a terrifying sight, no injuries have been reported since the material used is very light.
The city experienced strong winds because of Meranti, a super-typhoon which might be the strongest one to hit China this year. After leaving a trail of destruction in Taiwan, it made landfall in China, leaving one dead and 38 injured.
