The big news: Costa’s equaliser helps Chelsea draw
Diego Costa’s sensational overhead kick saw Chelsea come back from behind and draw 2-2 with Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday. Costa opened the scoring for the Blues when he netted the first goal of the match within 20 minutes with a clever assist from Oscar.
However, Swansea City made a comeback in the second half with Gylfi Sigurdsson netting the equaliser in the 59th minute. Three minutes later, Leroy Fer netted the second to give them the lead. Chelsea were desperately looking for an equaliser with Eden Hazard and Costa breaking into spirited runs near the box. Costa got the match-saving goal with a splendid overhead kick.
However, after the match, Gary Cahill was livid for not being given a foul by Fer before the second goal, which he said could be seen from the moon. Fer tackled Cahill from behind, which according to many experts was a clear foul.
