The big news: Cheteshwar Pujara powers India Blue
Cheteshwar Pujara scored his tenth first-class double century on Sunday, as India Blue continued to dominate against India Red in the final. Pujara remained unbeaten on 256, as India Blue ended their innings on 693/6, with Sheldon Jackson also scoring 134. The duo stitched a 243-run partnership and dominated proceedings on day two.
India Red, led by Yuvraj Singh, were clueless as Pujara was clinical in his display. After declaring their innings, India Blue bowler Pankaj Singh bagged two quick wickets to leave India Red struggling at 16/2. With three days to go, India Red will have to play smart if they are to win the trophy.
