At least 12 people were killed and more than 50 wounded in an attack claimed by the Islamic State group on a mall in Iraqi capital Baghdad late on Friday. While one bomb exploded at the entrance to Nakheel Mall, the other went off in the parking lot, Reuters reported.
Two suicide bombers – one in a car and other wearing a vest – had targeted "a gathering of Shi'ites" on Palestine Street, Amaq news agency, which supports the Islamic State group, said in a statement online. A video shared on Facebook showed a fire in four spots, including two cars ablaze. The mall is located opposite Iraq's Oil Ministry office in the eastern side of Baghdad.
