The big news: Will Aguero miss the Manchester derby?
Manchester City might have gone to the top of the Premier League after beating West Ham 3-1 on Sunday, which was their third straight win in as many games, but manager Pep Guardiola has reason to worry.
His striker Sergio Aguero could face potential sanction after an incident in the 76th minute of the game where he appeared to elbow West Ham's Winston Reid. The referee Andre Marriner did not book or send off Aguero but the English Football Association could take retrospective action.
If Aguero is banned, he will miss next week's key match where City take on United in the all-important Manchester derby. Manager Guardiola took a pragmatic outlook towards the incident saying he did not see the incident and could not comment, but if Aguero was banned, they would "accept and adapt".
However, he would be pleased by his team's performance at the Etihad Stadium. Raheem Sterling put in a masterful performance with two goals while Fernandinho also added another.
