The second Twenty20 International between India and West Indies in Florida on Sunday was abandoned after a short spell of rain led to a wet outfield. India had done well to restrict the West Indies to 143, but could only bat for two overs in their chase before the rain began.

According to the rules of the Duckworth-Lewis method, which comes into play when a match is affected by rain, at least five overs need to be bowled in the second innings before a team can be awarded a match, and thus the game ended with no result. The West Indies thus won the two-match series 1-0. India had lost the first match on Saturday by one run.
