The third edition of the football Indian Super League will be held from October 1 to December 18. The first game will see NorthEast United FC take on Kerala Blasters FC in the season opener at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Guwahati with the opening ceremony also scheduled to be held at the same venue.
Last season's champions, Chennaiyin FC will begin their campaign on October 2 against Atletico de Kolkata at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium in Kolkata. Mumbai FC will also have a new home ground this season, having shifted to the Andheri Sports Complex from the DY Patil Stadium.
The final will be held on December 18. The venues for the semi-finals and final have not yet been decided.
