The Gujarat Police are investigating the murder of journalist Kishore Dave, who was reportedly stabbed to death by unidentified assailants at his office on Monday night in Junagadh. The 53-year-old was the bureau chief of a Gujarati daily, Jaihind-Sanjh Samachar, published from Rajkot, Superintendent of Police Nilesh Jajadiya said, according to PTI.
A case was registered against unidentified persons at Junagadh B Division police station. Dave's body has been sent for an autopsy. "He was stabbed six to seven times with a knife. From the injury marks, it appears that personal enmity could be a reason behind the murder," Jajadiya said.
