Two soldiers and a policeman were killed and three other security personnel were injured when militants attacked an army convoy in Baramulla district of Kashmir early Wednesday morning, reported PTI. Police said they are on the lookout for the attackers.

The injured have been shifted to hospital and the area has been cordoned off, reported IANS. The ambush took place in Khawaja Bagh area of the northern town between 2.30 am and 3 am. According to The Indian Express, this was the first time since the crisis began in the Valley last month that an army convoy was attacked.
