Twitter on Friday announced that it will launch a new tri-colour emoji featuring India's map on the eve of Independence Day. The emoji will be live from 6.30 pm on August 14 to 6.30 am on August 17.
The microblogging site said Indians across the world can be part of the Independence Day conversations by using the following hashtags: #India #इंडिया #IndiaAt69 #भारत #IndiaIndependenceDay while posting a Tweet.
Twitter had a special emoji featuring the Indian flag last year as well. The microblogging site has earlier celebrated Indian occasions and festivals such as Republic Day and Diwali with similar offerings.
