Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa expelled All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam member Sasikala Pushpa for getting into a fight with a fellow Parliamentarian.
In total, the Rajya Sabha spent more than 112 hours in session. The Lok Sabha saw more adjournments, but made up for this by working an extra 18 hours beyond the stipulated time. The Lower House spent a total of 121 hours in session, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said.
