Deepika Kumari crashed out 0-6 to World No 2 Tan-Ya Ting of Chinese Taipei in the round of 16 in the women's individual archery event with the final score being 27-29 26-29 27-30 in three sets.
Kumari never looked liked winning. Ting, who finished fourth in the ranking round, got progressively better as the match went on and shot a perfect 30 in her last round to defeat the Indian archer.
