Thirty-five-year-old Naziya Mohammed Akbar Sayyed has got a second lease on life. What made the Mumbai resident walk calmly towards an oncoming Ambernath train at Vikhroli station is not known, but she was saved in the nick of time.

Despite the Bollywood-ised soundtrack in the video above, the women was not as close to death as it initially appears. Commuters and rail authorities on the platform saw her and warned the engine driver, who was able to slow down and stop the train. Two college students, who haven't yet been identified, also quickly pulled the woman to safety to avoid any further incident.

In June of this year, CCTV footage was made public of a man jumping in front of (viewer discretion advised) a running train also at Vikhroli station. Unfortunately, at that time the engine driver did not get sufficient warning as the platform was deserted. Some nine people die each day on Mumbai's local trains. Most of the deaths involve people illegally crossing the tracks.

In addition to this, as much as one-third of India's population may be depressed, giving the country the highest rate of suicides between the ages of 15 and 29 in the world. However, depression continues to be ignored in India.
