"The man allegedly verbally abused the security and management personnel, and refused to leave," said a media statement from the NSW police, according to ESPNCricinfo. O'Keefe recently returned to Australia after sustaining an injury while on tour in Sri Lanka.
In a statement, O'Keefe expressed regret and took full responsibility for his actions.
