The Indian women’s hockey team is on the brink of an exit from the Rio Olympics after losing their second game of Pool B 0-3 to Great Britain. The Indians had drawn their first match 2-2 against Japan.
World No 13 India did well to keep Great Britain quiet in the first quarter of play. However, once the second quarter began, there was no stopping the British outfit as it romped to a 3-0 win. Giselle Ansley, Nicola White and Alex Danson were the scorers for Team GB.
India's next opponents are world No 3 Australia on Wednesday.
