E-commerce logistics supply chain company GoJavas has temporarily suspended operations, citing technical issues. GoJavas officials said the company was facing an information technology snag for almost a week now and are working to resolve the issue, reported Livemint. However, officials did not mention how long it would be before they resumed operations.
The officials also said that the Gurgaon-based company was in the process of introducing changes to its operational model. According to an email to Livemint, GoJavas said the changed would help them be more flexible and provide additional services and extra reach.
Founded in 2013, GoJavas clientele includes companies like HealthKart, LensKart and Fabfurnish. Its main competitors include Flipkart’s logistics firm eKart, Dotzot, Delhivery and Ecom Express.
Snapdeal, which owns more than a 42% stake in the company, has been in talks to acquire a 100% stake in GoJavas. However, reports claimed that the talks have not yielded any result. Alibaba-backed Snapdeal has invested more than Rs 237 crore in GoJavas since March 2015.
