Indian shooter Jitu Rai finished last in the men's 10m air pistol final of the Rio Olympics on Saturday. Rai was the first out of the eight finalists to be eliminated with a score of 78.7 after eight shots. Xuan Vinh Hoang of Vietnam won gold after scoring 10.7 on the final shot, which pushed Brazilian Felipe Almeida Wu to second for the silver. Pang Wei of China won the bronze.
Rai qualified for the final after coming in sixth during the qualification stage at the Olympic Shooting Centre on Saturday. However, his compatriot Gurpreet Singh failed to make the cut, finishing 20th.
