Two documentaries will be screened. Bappa Ray’s Folk Tradition of Ram Katha in North-East India, in English, explores the evolution of the Ramayana within the cultures of the North Eastern states of India. MUSIC Monsoon Festival of Hindustani Music at India International Centre

The ongoing festival will conclude this weekend with two films from 1954. FILM Earth Witness: Reflections on the Times and the Timeless at India Habitat Centre
Environment films forum CMS Vatavaran will screen Akanksha Joshi’s 2011 documentary Earth Witness: Reflections on the Times and the Timeless.
The film, which is in Chhattisgarhi, Bengali and Kutchi, follows the lives of a teacher, a farmer, a shepherd and a father, all of whom have tribal roots and are fighting climate change in various parts of India. There is no entry fee.
