ART FILM MUSIC TALKS WORKSHOPS EyeMyth Media Arts Festival at Sitara Studio, Dolby Laboratories, Edward Theatre and the Piramal Museum of Art
The second edition of this new media festival, which was last held in the city in 2013, will feature an exhibition of installations at Sitara Studios from Friday, February 19 to Sunday, February 21 (from 11 am to 10 pm); a synthesizer workshop at Dolby Laboratories on Friday, February 19 (from 3 pm to 5 pm); screenings of animation films from across the world (from 3 pm to 7 pm) and a showcase of works and performances from the Japanese New Media Arts Festival (from 8 pm to 1 am) at Edward Cinema on Saturday, February 20; and a talk entitled ‘The W In V’, about how the female form is represented in video games, at the Piramal Museum of Art on Sunday, February 21 (from 3 pm to 4.30 pm). FILM Eternity and a Day at the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum
Theo Angelopoulos’s 1998 Greek film will be screened as part of the Movies at the Museum series. Eternity and a Day hinges on a terminally ill poet, who saves an illegal Albanian immigrant from the cops and attempts to help him return to his country. Filmmaker Ashmaki Acharya will introduce the movie and discuss it with series curators filmmaker Avijit Mukul Kishore and architect Rohan Shivkumar after the screening. There is no entry fee.

COMEDY MUSIC Stage Forty Twoo at Rangsharda Auditorium, P. J. Hindu Gymkhana Grounds and Blue Frog
Three shows will be staged this weekend as part of Stage Forty Twoo, the month-long comedy and music festival organised by Only Much Louder and also known as Stage42. On Friday, February 19, at the Rangsharda Auditorium at 6 pm, Teri Rasam, featuring stand-up comedians Kanan Gill, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Raghav Mandava, Naveen Richard, Kaneez Surka, Sumukhi Suresh and Sonali Thakker, will be staged. Photographs and drawings of performance artist Sahej Rahal enacting made-up Jedi-like characters in places such as Vasai Fort, the rock garden in Chandigarh, Rome and Sodoshima Island in Japan make up his new solo show Adversary.

ART Thinking Tantra at Jhaveri Contemporary
A group show of works that refer to the Hindu practice of tantra by 16 Indian and international artists such as Prabhakar Barwe, Biren De, Alexander Gorlizki, Prafulla Mohanti, Jean-Luc Moulene and Jagdish Swaminathan.

MUSEUM EXHIBITION The State of Architecture at the National Gallery of Modern Art
Curated by architect Rahul Mehrotra, art curator Ranjit Hoskote and writer and lecturer Kaiwan Mehta and organised by the Urban Design Research Institute, this exhibition explores contemporary Indian architecture as well as the history of architectural practice in the country.
