ART Urban Street Art Festival at Lodhi Colony, Lado Sarai, Govind Puri Metro Station and Inland Container Depot
The St+art India Foundation returns to the capital with the fourth edition of its Urban Street Art Festival. Over the next two and half weeks, the festival will bring together 24 acclaimed international and Indian street artists, including Iran’s Nafir, Italy’s Agostino Iacurci, the Netherlands’ Niels Shoe Meulman and Delhi’s own Daku, to transform the walls of Lodhi Colony, Lado Sarai and Govind Puri metro station and to create a walk-through installation using 100 shipping containers inside the Inland Container Depot. ART Following the Box at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts
An exhibition of works by 12 contemporary artists based on photographs of India taken in 1945 by an unknown American serviceman. The photos were found in a shoebox by US-based couple Alan Teller and Jerri Zbiral, who travelled to India to find out more about the stories behind the images. ART Himmat Shah at Kiran Nadar Museum of Art

ART India Art Fair 2016 at National Small Industries Corporation Ground
This year’s edition of the platform for modern and contemporary art from South Asia will feature 94 exhibitors from 19 countries, and international artists like Cameroon’s Pascale Marthine Tayou, Korea’s Kim Ho-Suk and France’s Julien Segard. WALKS Exploring Mehrauli Archaeological Park
Delhi Heritage Walks’ tour of the Park, which is unique for being the only area in Delhi that was continuously occupied by various dynasties over 1,000 years, will cover some of the 100 monuments inside, such as the Jamali Kamali mosque and tomb, the tomb of Ghiyas ud din Balban and the Dilkusha guesthouse. DANCE Delhi Dance Marathon at Natya Ballet Centre

ART Deck of Cards/Taash Ke Patte at the British Council
This exhibition, put together by the Art 18/21 gallery and the British Council, brings together two sets of 55 art works: Deck of Cards, from a 1976 exhibition in which British artists created pieces based on a playing card that was sent to them; and Taash Ke Patte a new collection of creations by leading Indian artists such as Anjolie Ela Menon, Krishen Khanna and Gigi Scaria, who were invited to participate in the show by curator Laura Williams. SPORTS Try Cycle Cyclothon 2016 at Leisure Valley
Cycling enthusiasts can compete in this cyclothon comprising the NCR Open 32 km race and 4 km ‘Fun Ride’. The registration fee is Rs 1,175 per head for the NCR Open and Rs 650 per head for the Fun Ride (excluding taxes).
