On Saturday, Vadra decided it was time to reiterate his views on VIP culture. In a Facebook post, he accused the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi of hypocrisy over its exemption lists for the odd-even traffic policy in the capital to be implemented on January 1.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal earlier in the week released a list of people who would be exempt from the rule, according to which vehicles with odd numbered license plates and even-numbered plates will be allowed to move in the city on alternate days in an attempt to curb pollution. Among those exempt include the President, Vice-President and other top government functionaries.
Vadra, however, insisted that everyone "must adhere and not be VIPs".
BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli said it was ironic that a man who accepted privileges was now commenting on exceptions. It was a view shared on social media, where many poked fun at Vadra's remarks.
Robert Vadra will take his odd numbered car one day and Sasu Ma's chopper the next day...simple!

Robert Vadra spoke against VIP culture, cos that's the kind of humble man he is. He is a small farmer with a net worth of only $2.1 billion.
