The actor has been charged with culpable homicide in Mumbai in September 2002 for running over five men sleeping on pavement, killing one. According to authorities, his Toyota Land Cruiser ran over five people sleeping on a pavement in the Bandra area, injuring three of them and killing 38-year-old Noor Ullah Khan.
As the court held him guilty of all charges on Wednesday, social media reacted intensely to the verdict.

Others on Twitter had a field day recycling some old jokes on Salman Khan and also came up with new ones referencing to his upcoming jail term.
Whatever be the verdict, it should be timed in a way that Salman Khan is released on Eid.
