Many parts of India are witnessing their first snowfall of the season. Several places in Himachal Pradesh remained cut off for the third day running on Tuesday due to heavy snowfall. Power supply was extremely erratic in most parts of Kullu and Manali and some places faced a complete blackout. Vehicles were left stranded on the Rohtang Pass, forcing passengers to get off and walk back.
